Hi, Can anyone please help me? I am trying to create a script to create wrinkled paper effect as in the picture. what is the best way to achieve that effect? Thanks

One way:
-Take a piece of paper and wrinkle it
-3d scan the paper
-Slice the scan with contour
(-clean up the contours)
-Extrude the contours

Many of us like to help, but it’s good to see effort on our part being matched by effort on your part. Questions in the form of “ I need to do X but cannot be bothered to try and learn the software ” will (and should) go unanswered.

Attempt to make it yourself, and we can make suggestions on how to make it better. From this perspective of the photo, it kinda reminds me of these Parametric House videos, check them out.

I had fallen into the Instagram rabbit-hole and found this post:

Made me think about your request. Hope it helps.

You can get that height map using perlin noise (for best results you should combine different noise scales) modulated with more mathematical functions (maybe exponential or logarithmic) to get those slopes…
