would wish there can be an option for creating a border only instead of the filled background, so that the text appears in a box with choice of border width.
eg. to get this automatically:
and for the solid fill, an option to set transparency would be very nice. sometimes the fill just cuts too much info from the drawing below.

Hi Daniel - transparency may just work in V7 when all the alpha colors are fully implemented - at the moment the alpha is not available on the Mask color picker, but I would expect, if I understand things, that it will.
I can add a wish for the border.

I noticed the alpha colour feature, good if it can extend into that area.
