Wish: Alpha for Text Mask

Would love to see an aplha option for mask background.

Masks can help a lot with eg. text over dense drawings, but then again, if the text is extensive, it blocks too much of the info hidden below.

Not sure if I get your question correctly, but you can add a color with transparency to a _Text. Is what you want different from that? If so pls. post a picture.

Hi @Gijs,

You can transparency to the text, but you can only apply solid colour to the mask. I believe the request is to be able to add transparency to the latter. I’d second that request.
