WISH: SubD in a separate tab?

Is it possible to get all SubD commands as a separate Tab or a separate flyout-toolbar?

In WIP V7, it’s already there. Use Show toolbar Choose SubD Modeling Toolbar
ABOVE COMMENT IS NOT CORRECT
Here’s where I got the toolbar; I had forgotten about adding it to my tools to check out, but did not try it; it is not functional. My apology for the false info.:

Interesting…do I miss something?

I installed this today.

I noticed someting. I click on the RhinoWIP icon but after the window has opened it looks like Rhino6 is being run. Even though all my customizations and plugins are gone.

Is that how it is supposed to be?

I don’t see the SubD toolbar listed either.

You all may need to run _ToolbarReset

Any other idea?

ToolbarReset didn’t solve it.

Just my suspicion above. If you have Rhino6.13 installed along with the RhinoWIP. It appears the Rhino6.13 is running instead of 7.

The subd stuff is in Rhino WIP only (aka Rhino 7).

My mistake.

Simpler explaination - I started Rhino 6 by mistake instead of Rhino 7. Rhino 7 starts and runs properly when I click on the Rhino 7 icon.

No SubD toolbar in V7 after ToolbarReset.

That’s because it doesn’t exist yet. What FredC posted above is something someone else made a long time ago - looks like @skysurfer - it is not native to the Rhino WIP.

After a few years of development of SubD, would not it be time to add tools (through nice clickable icons, easily recognizable)?
I understand the “embryonic” phase of these tools, but it’s all too slow, too far behind, all too much WIP, behind the competition. Or not? (commendable work, but very, very slow…).

Ah right, I somehow filtered subd toolbar to be mesh utilities toolbar (the one I made).

oh, does (the one I made) mean it’s not supposed to be in the RhinoWIP release?

A wild goose chase. (American expression for a search for something which is finally determined not to exist.) :upside_down_face:

It is supposed to be in there, I just had my brain turned off for the week-end.
