Two closed curves which one segments completely overlaps

Both curves have no names, and they display in the same color

If we want select curve-segment we can’t distinguish to which curve selected curve-segment belongs.

Please also take a look that the selection list changes!:
The first time, first on the list it’s the bigger curve segment.
Second try, first on the list it’s the smaller curve segment.
In my opinion, one color should highlight curve-segment and second color should highlight the rest of the curve, so we know which object we modify.
In the case of surfaces, it is easier because highlight also shows some directions, and also there is a display option to turn on Shade-highlight selected surfaces and polysurfaces
