Can you please add so Rhino remembers if a Layout is printed as vector or bitmap?
In some files we use both (mainly due to Rhino’s hickups with draw order of blocks) so sometimes we need to use bitmap, but only for a few layouts. The rest we want vectorized, and remembering which needs what can be difficult. At least if we open each others projects and need to do an export.
This is so depressing…
I’ve been lobbying for a decade or so to get the print options to be remembered per file, and now you want that to happen per layout?
On the pile: RH-87760 Save the print settings - per layout
Just to manage expectations, please also read RH-38875 Save the print settings…

Thanks for the link to 38875, interesting read.
And you know me, being able to open one of my old documents, or a colleague’s, and hit print, render or just view the file as it was saved, is key. (ref printsettings, materials and textures, and displaymodes and flares) I have 3 computers I use frequently, (home, office and laptop) and I wish for all settings to be saved so I can continue to work with out having to look through all kinds of settings to make sure I get the expected output on a short deadline
Print settings per layout should be in v9 i suppose, i would implement it that in layouts tab there would be column with print settings and either default (common when ctrlp) or setting 1 2 3 etc.
