I’ve seen this command mentioned a few times and use it somewhat regularly. I would love if TestRandColor was promoted to a proper command. I think with very minimal improvements it could be listed on the Analysis dropdown. My only complaint is that it’s always in disco mode where the colors shuffle randomly. Example of my use-case below, distinguishing which objects are joined vs separated.
Wish is for Basic Command flags (Enable, Disable, Toggle, Shuffle Colors)
There are plenty of ‘features’ I could imagine, but it’s a rare enough command that I personally wouldn’t be interested in anything more than a basic toggle. I’ll list them here so this thread doesn’t turn into a feature dogpile.
Color by Layer vs Color by Object,
Align vs distinguish same-name blocks.
Align/distinguish sub-block objects.
Align/distinguish sub-group objects.
