A really nice thing to have would be a hatch creation tool.
Something where I can quickly draw up new hatches in a pixel matrix to save, use and savour.

Not the same as included in Rhino @mortenengel but Rhino Gold has hatch tools. About 1 min into this video. Not sure if you can create your own and add to the library.
Hatches are line pattern not pixel matrices. You can write your own AutoCAD .pat file and import it into Rhino,
