In many situations i wish i could manipulate a volume as shown in the gif below, by moving and rotating its faces to cut it. I know this can be done with grasshopper but a native way to do it directly in rhino would be much more convenient.
Hello - yes, that is the wish. I’d say that yes, it’s ‘obvious’, in a way, at least for planes and other predictable shapes like cones and cylinders etc and it may even be relatively easy to implement in those cases (I don’t know that…) but it would require,a different way to define objects, at some level, than what Rhino currently uses. @rajaa, do you have any thoughts on this? I know it’s come up before, more than once…
