I think CaptureToFile is a bit strange to use. Having to choose the desired display mode in the viewport first doesn’t really feel right, especially combined with raytraced. Wouldn’t it be nicer if the user could choose the desired display mode as an option in the options dialog box? That way it would be independent of what display mode is currently applied to the viewport. Could look like this:
Another thing with CaptureToFile is that the options dialog box lets the user specify a certain view from a dropdown. Though when using the command -CaptureToFile with the options dialog box suppressed, I don’t see a way to access this option. I’m missing this for use with macro batches.
