Wire Alignment Gradually Drifts when Moving Components

I have noticed that Grasshopper wires can become very slightly misaligned over time, even when the connected components were originally positioned and aligned carefully.

This is especially noticeable when moving a group or a selection of components together. After moving them, the relative positions of the components can shift by a tiny amount, causing wires that were previously perfectly aligned to curve or separate slightly. The difference is small, but in a large and carefully organized definition it becomes quite noticeable and rather annoying.

It seems that this has been reported several times before:

The current workaround appears to be repeatedly selecting the components and using the alignment controls again, but this does not prevent the alignment from gradually shifting after additional movements.

@DavidRutten is this a known limitation of the current Grasshopper canvas? Is it caused by rounding or snapping when multiple components are moved together?

More importantly, will Grasshopper 2 preserve the exact relative positions of selected components and provide more reliable wire alignment?

It would be great if components that are already aligned remained mathematically aligned when a selection or group is moved.
