WIP windows 7 support

The most recent WIP asks for Windows 8.1 or newer…
I know, Windows 7 Jeez, wake up and smell the coffee, but I am still clinging to my W7 so I can use my Caustic raytracing card with Neon ( )
Any chance of W7 compatibility? I know it will have a low priority, but seems a shame not to be able to run R7 on W7…

If you run Windows 7, please upgrade to Windows 10 to use Rhino WIP. Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. As of today’s WIP, Rhino WIP will not install on Windows 7.

Concerns about Windows 10

How is this likely to affect offline users? As I recall at the time of Win10 introduction I did a lot of reading about it and tried it briefly and concluded that Microsoft had such zeal for driving everyone to the cloud that it was practically impossible or at least annoyingly impractical to configure and use an offline Win10 computer. Especially with regard to mandatory updates. Has that changed? Are there any current offline Win10 users who could share their views and experiences?
