Wing from airfoils

Hi all,
I was wondering how you can create a wing for an airplane, just by having 5 different airfoils per semi-wing… , obviously starting with the thicker airfoil in the “root” of the fuselage, and using the smaller ones when going to the wingtip…

Which is the command that you would use for this?

Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,

GM

Hello - it depends a bit on how you are getting the curves - of they are polylines then it probably makes sense in the long run to redraw the curves as simple and smooth low-point-count curves - I’d use a degree 5 curve. Making one and copying and scaling to the other stations will make this relatively painless but, again, depending on the specifics, you will likely want to Loft the curves and it is much cleaner if the curves match (e.g. are copies of an original with the points in different locations for each profile.)

Feel free to post the curves…

Thank you so much Pascal…

This is exactly what I needed! The “LOFT” command…

Many thanks for your quick reply!
