But no one has linked to such and this thread initially asked for such so I could sit and study it.
I can see the shape, I just wanted Rhino technique on best making a real thread.

How to model a nut no videos anywhere

A couple years ago (when I was first starting out with Rhino) I needed to make a part with an uncommon 40 tpi pitch. (it’s actually fairly standard in the optical field but in generic hardware it isn’t). This video was very helpful then - and guided me towards a working part, particularly the approach for building arbitrary threads. [Using Rhino : How to model Bolt & Nut 3d in rhinoceros 5.0] No narration but pretty easy to follow what is going on.

I did criticize it myself, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to learn from it. Edison made the lightbulb many wrong ways before he found the right ways.
