When I Paste (ctrl + v) Rhino unselects my pasted geometry

Previously, after pasting, Rhino would leave my selected objects selected.

Thanks!

Hello - as far as I can see Paste leaves the objects selected here. If it does not, for you, can you test in a new file, make a box, Ctrl-X, Ctrl-V - is the object selected?

-Pascal

What you described is what I expect (and have experienced in Rhino before), but in my version of Rhino, as soon as I “Ctrl-V”, the object(s) are unselected, it doesn’t matter what type or how many objects.

Hello -

Please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and copy/paste the results here.

Hello - I would get the most recent Rhino, https://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino-for-windows/7/latest and if that in itself does not sort it out, disable these plug-ins in Options > Plug-ins page:

Then close and restart Rhino. My guess is it will work, and if so, your job will be to enable one or two at a time and see if you can pin down the culprit.

-Pascal

I uninstalled Speckle, RhinoBeat, EleFront, Pollination, and it works! Will go back and figure out which one specifically was doing this.

Hello- no need to uninstall - you can disable them in Options, then close and restart Rhino.

-Pascal

sorry, meant “disable”
