workflow in the video:
there is a SubD in the clipboard
cmd n for new document
(screenrecord starts)
cmd v for paste - selected scissors-handle visible
click in viewport to deselect
empty viewport
click shaded to refresh - object visible
(Problem might be related to multiple unsaved documents open)
