the installer displays the minimum required version. You are running 5.7 and shouldn’t be able to install the newest V-Ray version on it, since it requires at least 6.23
It’s been a while, and I’m all updated. Just trying (as always) to install my Vray (vray_adv_36003_rhino_6_win_x64) into my Rhino 6 (Version 6 SR28 - 6.28.20199.17141, 7/17/2020)
I double-click the installer and click OK for everything. I restart, and go to Rhino and I get the following. It must just be me, but every single time I go to Install and use Vray it’s problematic. I stopped using it b/c it was so troublesome, but now I’d like to use it again.
Any chance you (or anyone else) can help, please?
EDIT: I’ve gotten it to install and Rhino has the plugin open, but I am not able to get the License to work now
It looks like the license is currently in use. Have you by chance borrowed it for offline use?
If you click on the license list entry additional information will be displayed - the IP of the current session and the state of the license (Online use / Offline use).
Yeah, no matter what I do, it’s not available. I just tried “borrowing” it the other day just to try it.
Is there someone I can talk with live, that operates on normal California business hours?
