What to do with my license before doing a factory reset on my laptop?

I want to do a factory reset on my laptop just so I can get it back to optimal health.
My license is bound to my laptop, as I didn’t choose the option for cloud based license.
Are there any steps I should take before doing the factory reset? I don’t want to mess this up.

That depends on how you setup your license.
If it’s V6 or V7 and your license is in your login account, nothing.
After you get your computer reset and updated again, install Rhino, Start it, and login.

If you “Locked” the license to the computer, then you’ll need to remove it before you wipe it.
