What setting controls the differences in line thickness?

Hi,
my lines in V5 are fine and CAD like, in V8 they are clunky, bitty, and thicker.

I know this is being fixed in v8,
@Gijs
and for the moment everything needs converting to Degree 2, ( a nuisance each time one creates a line but there we go. A BUG being fixed, or so we hope )
However , what settings makes a drawn 0.6 line look 3 x fatter ?
Print Preview was for that purpose, now it seems 0.6 is going to appear fatter than 0.6 even with Print preview OFF. not a bad thing one might argue,

Also the yellow disc when selected sees some extra lines, a brighter yellow, in V5 than in V8 where they dont appear at all, what setting did I have ON to show them ?

I recommend duplicating your Continuous linetype and setting to a Unit vs using the Default Pixel Units

I know this is a point, but I don’t really see the point in posting an issue twice, it will not make fixing the bug go any faster.

Hi, the image was more about the drawn lines and difference in thicknesses, but some folk might wonder about the ants on fishing line look as well, and the cause, so I mentioned it here saying it was being fixed.

and still wondering what were the extra yellow lines in V5 ? for the disc when selected.
I thought I had matched all settings in V5 to V8.
