Weird Box when using clipping plane in Make2D

Im currently trying to create a section through a vlipping plane, however, every time i use Make2D on the object i want to draw a large box appears, which doesnt exist anywhere in the actual model.
This is apparently a reoccuring problem in rhino8 but nobody i talk to seems to know how to fix this
