Every time I got o print I have to change the DPI in Rhino Print from 600 to 300. Is there a way to change the Default to 300dpi?
Hello - none that I can see - sounds like it could be an Advanced setting in Options.

Hmph.
An Option Like AutoCAD has would be nice, to print with the same settings as the print before
If you’re within the same file, I believe it basically does do that.
I would like to be able to specify the Default throughout using Rhino.
No its not, at least in my rhino version not.
Every time I need to specify the printer, sheet format , adjust the printwindow.
I’d like this option too.
The problem is that with for the processer-intensive drawings I use, and the raster formatting I use, accidentally leaving the resolution at 600 dpi results in very long print times, not infrequent print crashes, and huge output files; plus the need to redo the entire procedure again at the prefectly acceptable (and feasible) 300 dpi.
thanks
David
Totally.
This is one of many reasons that support my claim that printing in Rhino is a fragile, tedious process full of repetitive setting and resetting of options, many of which don’t persist (and in an awful UI that requires scrolling precision clicking to reveal options). It really does not have to be this way.
What is so special about 600 dpi that we’re forced to remember to divorce ourselves from it every session? Can you guys please give us a parachute?
Edit: Looks like they did in version 8. A bit of a shame for those of us using 7.
