Vray render strange results

I have been rendering some shapes from Rhino5 with Vray and the results have been that the smooth curved shapes are coming out wobbly and/or jagged?!

Can any body give me any advice on why this is happening and how to rectify it?

This looks like a typical “far from origin” problem.
Could it be your objects are very large and/or are positioned far from Rhino’s world origin?

I’m not sure how Vray handles Rhino render meshes, but it could be Vray rounds the mesh vertex coordinates, generating this type of jagged meshes, because the rounding of the very large numbers creates errors.

To solve it try and move the objects closer to the world origin, or see if you can scale the model down/use different units.
