We’re currently working on it, but there is no release date. Moreover, VisualARQ 3 is in early development stage, and there are no many new features currently implemented, begin Rhino 7 WIP (including Rhino.Inside.Revit) compatibility the most important one.
Our plan is to publish VisualARQ 3 WIP for Rhino 7 WIP the next month. Only commercial users of VisualARQ 2 will be able to use it.
In two weeks we’ll also publish VisualARQ 2.8 with 2 main features:
Support for overhead display of sectioned objects in plan views and viewports.
Cloud Zoo support.
Is there any specific feature that you want in VisualARQ 3?
No, this feature in VisualARQ 2.8 allows to see the part of VisualARQ objects that is above the cut plane. You can specify the display attributes for those lines. Here are some examples:
As you can see in the last image, there is also a new property to override the cut elevation of openings, so openings that are below or above the cut plane will be shown in plan view as if there were actually cutted.
For me the best would to be able to substract the wall with a solid (from grasshopper style would be great). For example here I disabled the window to cut the wall and made a solid substration witht my own solid.
But then the finition layer is not wrapping.
Something that make it possible would be great!
