Viewport issues

Hi fellow Rhino enthusiasts,

Today I downloaded the latest version of Rhino 6 and encountered many issues. The Viewports were black. Once I started a new file the normal grid appeared but nothing would work, no drawing, no Pan, no Pivot, etc. None of the commands were working. Someone suggested to change the Properties from OpenGL to Windows which worked but only in wireframe mode. Shaded, Rendered, Ghosted, etc. viewport modes do not have ‘Windows’ option in the properties.

Do any of you experience this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

have you tried updating your video drivers?

I tried to upgrade the driver but it has the latest one already. I actually uninstalled it and shut down the comp so the system automatically downloaded the latest driver. Perhaps I should try to manually download a better driver but then that may not be compatible with the operating system :confused:
