View Capture to File Issue

Hello.

I’m trying to take a view capture to file of my model from isometric view, but these lines keep on dividing the photo, with different shadows on each segment of the photo. Ill attach a picture so you can see what I mean, but I haven’t been able to figure out why and how to prevent it. I’ve tried turning the ground plane off as that’s what I initially thought was causing it however that didn’t fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

What’s the pixel resolution of your viewport and the pixel resolution you want to save the screen captures? Is the viewport truly isometric or it still has a tiny bit perspective that look almost like isometric (this is achievable with Dolly zoom)?

Thank you so much, it was to do with the resolution I was saving it as! Changed it to match the viewport and its better now, thanks very much

You can still play with different resolutions and it should work in most cases.

Hi Tui -

As Bobi wrote, it should work with other resolutions as well. Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.
-wim

Glad to have found this! I

have the same problem. However, is there any solution if you don’t want to change resolution?

Very grateful for any help.

Hi Natalie -

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

Thank you for replying!

Hi John -

I can’t find any mentioning of an error message in this thread.
Could you describe the issue you are running into and a screen capture of that error message?
