i assume because the document setting of your dimension are set to a small value at least the text height of it. that can also happen when you import files. if all that does not lead you anywhere you would have to post a portion of that file. its difficult to judge from a sreen shot only.

Hello - unfortunately, Parallels is not supported - but getting the latest driver for your video card from the ATI website might do the trick.
