Windows 10 + Rhino 5/6 + V.Ray 3.6/4, yes it does.
I am amazed, they can sell a product for such a price that is not working!
Hi there!
Is there a VRay for Rhino Mac coming soon?
as far as I know the problem is only on Win7 and Win8.x
do you really have this problem with V-Ray Next on Windows 10 ?
I’d like to know too. What are the plans for Mac users - if any…?
Philip
I solved the problem at Win7 per Upgrade to Win10. I was impressed, how easy the upgrade from Win7 to Win10 was, no fresh install was needed, all programs was kept and it is for free.
Hi Nikolay, let me check the problem when I get home to double check I’m not spreading false claims - I’m still in the process of transition to VfR Next so I might have it mixed up.
edit: Giving it a fast try it really seems to be SOLVED. Wow. I will let you know if I encounter this problem again. Sorry for the confusion, both of my workplaces have different setups so I have it all mixed up.

Cool, just get rid of your Win7 rig for good.
I’m a day short of digging out a Win8 machine, and give it a try with the debugger.
Nevertheless, I’ll remove Win7 from sysreq the next time we roll a release out. Win8 will join shortly
They are both Windows 10 actually, but one of them is my own and the second one belongs to my company, which is Rhino 5 & V-Ray 3.6 and probably will stay that way forever.

Hello, Phillip,
V-Ray for Rhino on Mac OS is still on V-Ray for Rhino team’s agenda. We are closely following the development of Rhino WIP on Mac OS. Once it is commercially available and our devs review its API thoroughly, an announcement of our plans will be published.
Kind regards,
Peter
Ok, thanks!
Philip
so I just downloaded Vray Next update 1 (4.20.01) and I still get same issue with UI windows panels closing when I click on screen… is this still a known bug with windows 8.1 ?
here is a simple screen capture video showing the issue which makes it impossible to work with the software. I would love to know how to fix this issue as I really want to work with vray
Do you get the panel lost if you dock it to the Rhino UI at the right side? Maybe it works as a first workaround.
