UV editor road

Hi everyone, I need help. I’m building a winding cobblestone road, but how can I get the UVs to better follow the direction I want?

Winding? More like two linear stretches coming together at some angle. So, why not just use good old surface texture mapping? Of course, you’d want to use a bitmap texture of the kind you want.

Many thanks ,Lagom,But is there a way to make the materials on both sides fit together more smoothly?

What does “smoothly” mean exactly? Maybe you have a sketch or reference photo showing how the paving of the two walkways should meet?

Somewhat like this effect

Then you need to model your walkway with such a curved transition between the straight parts.

Hi @土土1 ,

You can do this with custom texture mapping. Give the polysrf a denser render mesh and then Unwrap it in the texture mapping properties. Then edit that UV island in the UVeditor using point and edge straightening constraints.
