We were never able to reproduce this on any of the machines that we use but, as you see, RH-48508 was reopened when we got information that the issue wasn’t fixed.
We need more information from you to find out what goes wrong, specifically:
Thanks Willem. if you recall updating Windows recently prior to not seeing this issue again please let me know the build you’re on. e.g. 1803. I haven’t been able to reproduce this but have heard of it from a few other users. It seems connected to Windows updates in conjunction with the GPU driver.
I doubt our service release is going to fix the problem since this is a system level problem that we can’t repeat.
Thanks for trying the installer Olivier. Another thought; have you looked at any pending Windows Updates for your system?
Does your office install any software that may be somewhat company wide that may be a bit ‘unique’? If this is happening on two computers in your office, then maybe there is something special about your configuration.
WPF is also tied to the .NET framework. If you haven’t done so, you may also want to make sure that you have the latest version of the Microsoft .NET runtime installed.
