Hi!
Since a few time, I have issues with the display of the text panel, which have to be hover by the mouse cursor in order to get the fields to be refreshed (see behaviour below):
Any clues about that?

Hello - I do not see this here but it is the second report I’ve seen today of this behavior - you show more plug-ins than the other user - does this happen if you start Rhino in Safe Mode and do not allow loading of the ‘optional’ plug-ins? ( “RealDrawings”, “PanelingTools”, “SectionTools” )
Start Rhino in Safe Mode: Windows start menu, type in ‘Rhinoceros’ and look for the ‘Rhinoceros in Safe Mode’ entry.
@jeffoulet - thanks, I see enough weird stuff in Properties in SR14 to more or less confirm your report…

Thank you Pascal.
I also disabled the following plugins:
“3Dconnexion 3D Mouse”
“SectionTools”
“RealDrawings”
“BlockCommander”
“PanelingTools”
“Iris”
and tried in Safe Mode: I was not able to reproduce the issue so far…
In normal mode instead, with the same plugins disabled, the issue seems to be persistent.
Even by opening a blank file, and add some sample text object in it. The very first time I select the object, the properties panel will display properly. If I deselect and reselect the text object, the issue occurs.
I can’t remember when this issue appear for the first time, but it should be something like a few months ago. I just have been too lazy to report it until now…
Do you think that a reinstallation of Rhino might be helpful?

Hi - thanks for the additional information!
At this point, no. The bug has to be fixed first.
It’s tagged as a major issue but a release target has not been set. If you “subscribe” to that issue, you will be notified of all changes.

Sorry to ask but how do we subscribe to that issue? Also having that problem!

You need to create a user at YouTrack, log in and click on the star (“Watch issue”).

Hi!
What’s the status on this one?
It seems indeed that the flicker issue has been solved.
However, I’m now facing with extremely annoying lags/poor responsivity of both annotation window and panel.
When I select one dimension or leader, it takes 2-3 seconds to refresh the panel / open the edition window:
It also lags when deselecting an annotation (object selected, click in empty zone):
Another extremely frustrating issue: when I append some extra comment in a dimension/edit a leader, it is absolutely not keyboard responsive and takes ages to refresh:
Sample file:annotation freeze.3dm (33.7 KB)

Hello - it would be useful to see the rest of the SystemInfo - the list of plug-ins in particular.
