Update Button in Layer State manager?

Is there a reason there is no button for the ‘update’ in Layer State Manager? I thought that using Save, with a layer state selected, would prompt whether I wanted to update the currently selected state or not. that doesn’t happen anymore.

In 7.4, confused me is all.

Right-click on the state and click Update.

Previously, did saving over a selected state prompt to update the selected one?
