Attempting to unwrap this surface with the hexagonal pattern with no luck so far. Does any have any input on the best tool to use to accomplish this? I’ve used unrollsrf and squish so far.
The honeycomb will be a vinyl masking applied onto a 3D print so that it can be sprayed.
Hello - Squish should work if you take a slice of one repeat of the pattern from the surface and squish that. i.e. limit the amount of curvature it has to deal with in the ‘around’ direction.
