Unable to map parakeet pattern on surface

I’m fairly new to Grasshopper, and I’ve encountered the following issue: I want to map this pattern onto a reparameterized surface. As you can see in the picture, the pattern always has this gap in between and also overlaps strangely at certain points. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out with any tips :slight_smile:

Thank you for your quick reply. Do you know how to get rid of the gap in between the pattern so it looks like the one in the picture?

just play with curves which sides u need and
they key is you need to make them into segments
