Good morning, I am trying to create a pattern with Grasshopper on the yellow surface, but Grasshopper is ignoring it and extrapolating over the entire surface. I would like to know if anyone here has encountered this problem and managed to solve it. I believe it’s something simple to resolve, but I can’t figure out how to fix it.
Hard to know exactly without seeing the files, but it looks like your yellow surface might be trimmed. Some GH components only work over untrimmed surfaces and will automatically untrim any input geometry. You can rebuild your surface using sweep2 or networksrf and try again.
