It probably wouldn’t hurt getting up-to-date drivers for the GPU, but we recommend 4GB of VRAM - that could be at play here as well.
If you can post - or upload - a 3dm model with which you are experiencing this slowdown, we can take a closer look and see if we can reproduce that issue.

Hi Wim,
I cannot find any later drivers as the graphics card is discontinued, the model is MOD Classified so unable to send that.
I will try to get a model I can test here and if it happens again I will send it to you.
