Turn off echoing on keyboard shortcuts

Hi,

I am trying to customize some Keyboard shortcuts, and the _noecho command doesn’t seem to do anything.

what I want is to be able to use a command, for example, line, then undo it with Ctrl-Z, and then hit enter or space and have it repeat the line command not the undo command. _noecho works for a middle mouse click which I have set to a view command, but doesn’t seem to work for any keyboard shortcuts. frustrating!

for Ctrl-Z I have: _noecho '_Undo

but I have tried a multitude of variations that seem to have no effect.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi OBucklin - noEcho does not affect whether or not a command goes on the undo stack. It seems to work for your MMB only because view commands have their own undo and Ctrl-Z does not do those. You can add commands to the ‘do not repeat’ list in Options > General, however.
