I had a trial license that expired in May, after this date it is assumed that it will no longer be able to save files but it will be able to view them. The problem is that it does not allow me to do this, it only tells me that the license has expired.
My guess is your expired license is still in a login account.
If you remove it and add it stand-alone Rhino will run indefinitely without Save/Export.
