Transparency Gradient Textured in Rendered View

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to create a light cove effect in rendered view using a gradient texture on a mesh object. However I’m having trouble getting rid of the yellow outlining the shape. Is there a way to hide this?

Guys i want to revive this topic because i’m having trouble with how rhino rendered view displays transparencies.

I’m applying this transparency alpha texture in a material to this brep with a Planar (UV) type mapping, but it wont display as a smooth gradient. It has this chunks of color with hard cuts. Like a really low pixel gradient.

Any thoughts?
