Toolbars won't stay put

I remember many discussions on this question in the old newsgroup but none of the solutions.

I just installed windows 8, loaded my options and my custom toolbars. Looks great but
every time I start rhino i have to put the toolbars back where they belong… .whats up with that?

Hi Aaron,

Try this, right click over the Rhino program icon and choose ‘run as admin’>arrange toolbars and close Rhino>Start Rhino normally. You should only have to do this admin thing once I think. The old cause of this was when the users account didn’t have write access for the directory where the toolbar files were saved. You should also check that you have full privileges for the folder with your custom toolbars.
