Things getting serious - Cycles - render farm

Maybe a topic for @nathanletwory

The implementation of Cycles for Rhino getting better and better and the renderengine itself is in my opinion very powerful. And It feels like Cycles and Rhino become more and more a serious relationship.
And because of this there is a new question for me… Is Rhino capable as a output render for professional visualization. I think the Render engine is powerful enough but there is the problem that I use a mac and won’t melt it down and of course some times you need the renderings faster as it is possible with a “casual” Workhorse. Maybe just say you need 5 renderings for a gallery print with 300dpi in 60cm x 40cm from a complex scenery.

Is it planned to make it possible to use Rhino with a render farm (Rebus, etc.) Are you in contact with Partners like these?

Just a naiv thought: Would it possible to export just a render Scene in Blender format to upload it in such a render farm? Because most render famrs understand cycles but not together with Rhino.
Do you ever thought about something like this?

Sure, I don’t see why not.

Not planned at the moment.

You can always try the import_3dm add-on I started. It isn’t complete yet, but should get most of your Rhino data into Blender.

I feel the same but for my personal preferences I need to outsource renderjobs

I was thinking about a solution without blender itself - just use the file format to use renderfarms (because they normally understand blender/cycles). It is a kind of guerrilla way without bringeing Rhino with cycles to these farms.

Well, the best way to write a .blend file is to use Blender.
