The Plug in error

I tried to use Rhino 8, but the error occurred loading plug-in. It said " The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoveros\8.0\Plug-in(9bc28e9e-7a6c-4b8f-a0c6-3d05e02d1b97)\data\RhinoCycles20240308

because it is being used by another process.

Please contact the plug-in vendor to get the latest version"

How can I solve this problem?. All I did was just install the Rhino 8 and click the polyline button. But the error kept occuring.

To sovle it,I rebooted, reinstalled, check the plug in and properties all day, but it is still not working and I donโ€™t know why.

This happens when you start multiple Rhino instances at the same time with Rhino 8.4. This is already fixed with Rhino 8.5 service release candidate. But if you canโ€™t update yet then make sure to have at least a second between different Rhino launches.

This is the evaluation version. Can I update Rhino from 8.4 to 8.5?

Yes. Go to Tools > Options > Updates and Statistics. Set update frequency to Service Release Candidate, then click on Check Nowโ€ฆ to download the installer for the 8.5 service release candidate.
