The file writing plug-in failed. when exporting an .obj or .stl file

Hello - does it make any difference if you mesh the objects (Mesh command, assuming they are not already meshes) first, and then select and export the meshes? Does Export of a box show the error?

it seems to be working if i pre-mesh.
and yes also the box export has this error.

Hello - and, in the normal export, (not meshing first) do you ever see the meshing dialog?
Can you also please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and copy/paste the results?
