I was trying to show the area of a particular sub-object (surface) of a polysurface. When selecting the object using Text Field window, it calculates the area correctly and uses the :x,y notation in the ID. But when I place the text object with the Text Field definition, it cuts out the :x,y part leading to area being calculated for the whole object - not the sub-object.
If I add the :x,y part manually afterwards into the Text Field definition, it works.
I would assume as a user, that it should work directly without the manual modification. I am running Rhino 7 SR28.
