Text block with function not working with text formatting

In Rhino5 i had a text block that pulled text from the note function. it worked great to allow quick information input into notes that would show up in the block. In rhino6 it does the same thing except that it doesn’t have the same text formating that is in the notes. It is just one long line of text information which i can’t adjust the text formatting.
