Sweep 1 not selecting whole group of rail lines

Hello everyone!

I just downloaded Rhino 8 to start learning before I use the program at Arch School and have been following the Rhino 6&7 intro videos. (Figure they should work mostly similar)

I am stuck in 3.1 Surfaces and Solids | Rhino3D.Education

The objective for this is to create a chair for which I have already made the guiding lines and have made the groups accordingly. (Image 1)

However when I try to use Sweep 1 to sweep the circle for the girth of the steel I can only select individual lines (Image 2&3) and even when making the sweeps independently they do not connect nor look good.

Do you have any idea about why this could be happening or upright solution?
I am just getting to know the program and this is frustrating having repeated it twice to see if anything changes.

Hi Ciro - use the ChainEdges command line option in Sweep1, or Join all the curves ahead of time.

I am making it work by individual rail lines (which are grouped).
However, I´d love to figure out the problem for this as it´s a terrible workflow.

Oh, I think I might have mistaken the group Command with the Join Command.
