Hi everyone,
I am looking for advice on the best workflow to create a fluid surface from a network of curves in Grasshopper. I am designing a grid of intersecting beams with variable depth inertia. I have extracted the curves for the bottom chord. Due to the nature of the variable inertia, the internal curves have some “stepping” or “aliasing” (crenelation). I need to generate a single, smooth, and fluid surface that follows these constraints:
- Peripheral Accuracy: The surface must pass exactly through the boundary/outer points of the network.
- Internal Approximation: For the curves located in the center, I want the surface to approximate them to maintain fluidity but minimizing deviation.
Does anyone have a recommended command or a specific strategy to achieve this balance between edge precision and internal smoothness?
