Sun in rendering does not show up

Hey there,

Just got Rhino 6 for windows and I have a question. When I have my ray traced view open, I really like the way it looks with the sun, unfortunately when I hit render it doesnt show up. Any advice would be much appreciated.

The render button does not use the same engine as Raytraced, but an older engine.

If you want to get the Raytraced results as a file you can use the _-ViewCaptureToFile command. Note the number of passes setting.

Alternatively you could use the hidden command TestPackageManager and install Rhino Render Next. This is a render plug-in that exposes the engine behind Raytraced as a renderer for the render button.
