How did you convert the 2D ( lines) into 3D shape with sub-D?
@sciensman most is done with append face and drawing quads. It’s in fact simple, but a bit tedious in Rhino to accomplish. After the basic layout is in place, the flat shape is thickened and refined.
I understood a little. You filled all the 2D sketch with append face command (with close points that is a tiresome work) and after the sketch was filled completely you did extrude.

What about the sharp tips of the leaves and branches and also the variable veins on the leaves?
