Strange behaviour: Split Surface with Curve

Hello guys,

just started using Rhino. Sorry for the noob question in advance:)

  1. Trying to split the triangle surface that have complex edge with the complex pattern curve and Rhino cant do that. If i take simple triangle surface split works.
    Can you explain such behaviour, some limitations?
  2. The second strange behaviour i have noticed that scale affects split command, with some scale split not working, and with other scale spliting the same objects works. Why is so?

Hello - Split is dependent on file tolerance, I expect that is why the scaling makes a difference. Instead of spliting a plane, you might try PlanarSrf on all curves at once.
