STL file problem

I am suddenly unable to create an STL file with my Rhino files. I even tried just saving a cube as an STL and was denied. Any suggestions?

Which version of Rhino are you using?
Which command do you use to get an STL file? What is the error message?

Thanks so much for responding! I just now figured it out. I was saving
instead of exporting…
